MEDICA continues to develop in an extremely vital manner. The world’s leading medical trade fair and the international No. 1 for the medical technology supply sector once again impressively underscored their positive results from the previous year with strong numbers – despite continuing adverse conditions. More than 81,000 visitors from various sectors of the global healthcare industry came to Düsseldorf, Germany, to attend MEDICA 2022 from 14 – 17 November 2022. Here, a total of more than 5,000 exhibitors from 70 nations offered them a variety of innovations for modern outpatient and clinical care – including all components, products and processes for their development and production. The share of international trade visitors was 75 percent. After the European countries, trade visitors from South Korea, the USA and groups of visitors from India and North African countries were also represented in large numbers.
